CONDOLENCE MESSAGES

I am shocked to read this sad message this early morning. I came in his contact about 20 years back in one of the IAMM conference and since then he found something in me worthy to pour his blessing on me. Whenever he will come to Delhi he would call me at my home and encourage me for my work. He patronized me for these many years specially when he was in the National Academy of Medical Sciences. He was highly respected teacher, orator and visionary and had high standing in the peers across all specialities. Very few teachers like him are born in India. I am deeply saddened by his sudden demise. I pray his soul rests in peace and almighty gives enough courage to all his family members and microbiology fraternity to bear this loss.

It is really a bad news for the Medical Microbiology fraternity of India.
As I have seen him in the past, in spite of being such a stalwart, he was so very humble and used to extend a sort of respect to his juniors too.

I was out of the country and constantly and constantly moving and hence could not condone the demise of Dr C S Bhaskaran.
I have known him through the association and got to know him intimately well during my 11 years in the Executive committee. He was always humble, highly knowledgeable and cultured. With his maturity, he was the guiding force during all the general body meetings which he made sure he attended. I will miss him personally. His demise is a huge loss to the IAMM.

  1. A great teacher and still a great human being, I remember the great couple who came uninvited(due to my mistake of overlooking) to bless the newly weds during my son's wedding and cheerfully excused me for my lapse . May his soul rest in peace.
