P G WRITE-UP COMPETITION 2018

The topics of PG Write-up competition for the news bulletin of IAMM TAPC Chapter 2019 as follows :

1. Parasitic Vaccines
2. Synergestic Antibiotics
3. Bacterial Exotoxins and their Detection methods
4. Diagnosis of Systemic Autoimmune Diseases

Certain Guidelines for the write-ups :

  1. The competition is open for all  the postgraduate members.
  2. Any postgraduate can submit entries to any of the   write-ups- maximum two topics may be selected ( if a PG wishes to submit to more than 2 topics, it can be done with the special request from the HOD, in the covering letter). All the write-up(s) shall be forwarded by the HOD. The covering letter can be scanned and attached  to the email along with the write-ups. If more than one PG submits from each department, a common covering letter (with the names of the PGs and their topics) will be sufficient.  (For a model of covering letter : Click here
  3. A faculty can act as a mentor in the preparation and finalizing the write-up; and include his/her name in the write-up.
  4.  All the write-ups should be in word format (*.doc or *.docx) ONLY. (And the scanned covering letter should be in pdf format)
  5. They can use Times New Roman / Arial / Calibri fonts - 12 size for inline text and 14 for Headings.  The write-up should be limited to 2000 (two thousand) words.
  6. The file name should contain the name of the write up.
  7.  They have to mention the references/bibliography at the end ( in text citations are not required).
  8. The copy-paste items from the internet are strictly prohibited, as this is the competition to reflect the comprehension skills as well as the ability to synthesize among the postgraduates
  9. They may include line diagrams or photographs wherever necessary - they have to cite the source in Bibliography.
  10. All the selected write-ups will be published in the News Bulletin and also available on the website.
