The XXIII IAMM TAPC Chapter, annual conference, “Medical
Microcon 2020 - ‘Essentials – man & microbe’” being organized by the Dept of Microbiology, Andhra
Medical College, Visakhapatnam will have the following academic programmes in
brief :
1. Precoenfernce workshop on : Immunofluorescence for autoimmune diagnostics
conducted by GITAMS Medical College
2. Preconference workshop on : “Is “Histamine (Rao’s) vicious cycle” is the
central dogma of inflammation?” coorganized by Dr. P.Apparao Research Centre, in
which more than 100 posters depicting the findings of Dr P.Apparao on the role
of immunity and inflammation in health and disease will be shown along with the
detailed discussion and lectures.
For the conference, there
will be four major guest lectures :
1. Presidential Oragion by
Dr. P.Shashikala Reddy, President of IAMM TAPC Chapter and Principal, Osmania
Medical College, Hyderabad
2. Dr. Kola Rajyalakshmi Memorial
Oration by Dr. K.R.L.Suryakirani, Professor and Head of Microbiology, Rangaraya
Medical College, Kakinada
3. Two more guest lectures by
eminent faculty
Along with these, there will
be several scientific deliberations of the faculty and postgraduates. There
will be several competetions as well in
