Minutes Of The Meeting Of Twin Cities Meet At Care  Hospital,Banjara Hills

·     Twin Cities Microbiology meet was held at Care Hospital, Banjara Hills on 2^nd  May 2015  in Care  Banjara auditorium . A total of 40 Microbiologists attended the meeting.

·        Meeting  started at 2.00 PM and  the gathering was addressed  by Dr.Devana Jhansi , Head of the Department of Microbiology , Care Hospitals.Banjara Hills

·        The programme was as follows :

1. NTM infection in pacemaker insertion  -Case report  by Dr.Devana Jhansi
2. Lecture on anti microbial resistance by   Dr.Chandan Kumar Das
3. Lecture on anti microbial stewardship by  Dr. Mustafa

·        4. An audit report on antimicrobial utilisation in surgical department ( CARE hospital)      

      5. Quiz programme - conducted  by Dr. Leela Kumari

·          All the lectures were followed by discussion .

·          Deccan Medical College Post Graduate was announced as the winner in the Quiz and was given a  prize

·          The meeting ended  with  vote of  thanks by Dr.Devana Jhansi.

·          The next Twin City Meet will be held at Global Hospitals in the Dept of Microbiology on July 4^th 2015.  (2.00 PM to 4.30 PM)
